While they maintain a strong emphasis on Dell technologies, they also partner with other enterprise‑grade OEMs such as HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise), HP Inc., Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, and Supermicro, as well as power and AV providers (e.g., APC by Schneider Electric, Eaton, Vertiv, Crestron, Logitech, Poly) to deliver efficient, cost‑effective solutions through strategic vendor partnerships.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Procurement and Relationships Manager to oversee technology purchasing operations and vendor relations, with a strong focus on Dell and other enterprise‑grade OEMs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating competitive pricing, managing vendor contracts, and ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of IT hardware and software, including servers, end‑user hardware (laptops/desktops), networking gear, power hardware (UPS/PDUs), and AV equipment.

A successful Procurement and Relationships Manager must possess in‑depth knowledge of Dell products, pricing structures, and vendor engagement strategies, along with familiarity working with additional enterprise vendors across servers, end‑user, power, and AV categories. Existing relationships with Dell sales representatives are highly valued; relationships with other OEMs and category suppliers are also a plus. Experience with other IT hardware and software vendors is important. Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships are essential.

Why Join

Join a dynamic and growing company that values efficiency, relationships, and innovation in IT procurement. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled negotiator with vendor experience to make a direct impact on cost savings and strategic partnerships. You will be part of a team committed to optimizing IT acquisition processes and delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Dell sales representatives and other key enterprise‑grade vendors (e.g., HPE, HP Inc., Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Supermicro), as well as power (APC/Eaton/Vertiv) and AV providers (Logitech/Crestron/Poly).
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure the most cost‑effective purchasing agreements across multiple OEMs and distributors.
  • Manage procurement of enterprise‑grade IT hardware and software, including servers, end‑user hardware (laptops/desktops), networking gear, power hardware (UPS/PDUs), and AV equipment, with a primary focus on Dell and complementary OEMs.
  • Monitor market trends, lead times, and product pricing/availability to ensure competitive advantage and continuity of supply.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand hardware/software needs, spanning servers, end‑user devices, networking, power, and AV, aligning purchases accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and pricing agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Strong existing relationships with Dell sales representatives required; proven experience engaging other enterprise‑grade OEMs (e.g., HPE, HP Inc., Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, Supermicro) and category suppliers (APC/Eaton/Vertiv; Logitech/Crestron/Poly) preferred.
  • Skilled in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT hardware and software across servers, end‑user hardware (laptops/desktops), networking, power (UPS/PDUs), and AV equipment.
  • Proven ability to analyze and secure the best pricing and terms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT hardware/software and industry pricing trends across the above categories.

  • Procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPPM) are a plus.
  • Dell‑related certifications and other relevant OEM/AV certifications (e.g., HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, AVIXA CTS) are a plus but not required.
