Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair networking systems, Audio and Video (A/V) setups, and Starlinkā¢ internet systems. The ideal candidate will ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, aiming for the highest functionality.
A successful Field Technician must possess thorough knowledge of computer hardware, various internet applications, network hardware relationships, consumer entertainment systems, and specialized equipment related to A/V and satellite internet systems. Excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and physical stamina are essential.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Present and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with clientele.
- System Installation: Install and configure networks, A/V setups, and Starlink internet systems according to specifications.
- Network Maintenance: Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems through debugging and repair or replacement of parts.
- Physical Tasks: Routinely lift and move equipment weighing in excess of 50 lbs; stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Routine climbing of and working from ladders/stools and rooftops.
- Documentation: Maintain records of installations, repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members in cooperative installations and to improve
overall system performance.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
- Network & Internet Setup: Proficient in WiFi, hardwired networks, and Starlink. Fair knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
- Audio & Video (A/V) Systems: Skilled in A/V system installations.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for on-site issues.
- Customer Service: Clear communicator with a user-friendly approach.
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Physical Installation: Comfortable with mounting, cabling, and safe equipment handling.
- Tech Adaptability: Eager to learn and apply new technologies.
- Growth-Oriented & Adaptable: Highly trainable, with a willingness to learn new methods and adapt to company-specific practices without reliance on fixed ways of working.
Education / Professional Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field required
- Experience in low-voltage or general construction, as an apprentice or laborer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) candidates preferred but not required
Licenses / Certifications
- None required, but relevant certifications are a plus
- Valid Driver's License Required
