Job Summary

As a Level II Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and other production machinery, and be a key member of process improvement and problem-solving teams. Your expertise will contribute to the sustainable operation of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies.
  • Install and perform alignment on mechanical drive systems.
  • Complete all assigned preventive tasks including major service and overhaul.
  • Replace identified failed parts or components.
  • Adjust equipment to bring it into operational specifications.
  • Maintain machinery lubrication requirements.
  • Recommend process or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
  • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring and components.
  • Maintain current and accurate maintenance data.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and operators.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Strong mechanical and electrical background.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with normal shop equipment such as drill press and band saw.
  • Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


Education / Professional Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2-year Technical Degree desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience or comparable skills demonstration.


Licenses / Certifications

  • Successful completion of certification testing.



Additional Information

  • Must be willing and able to complete an online assessment test lasting 2 to 2.5 hours.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of working safely in an industrial maintenance environment.
