Job Summary

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company's digital assets by implementing and maintaining robust security measures. You will work closely with a team of IT professionals to identify vulnerabilities, develop security protocols, and respond to security incidents. Your role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
  • Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations.
  • Install and manage security software and tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance security measures.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Education / Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.


Licenses / Certifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is a plus
