This position requires strong clinical skills, a high degree of accuracy, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.

Why Join

  • Work in a high-acuity, technologically advanced Cardiac Cath Lab performing complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team where your expertise is respected and your input matters.
  • Be part of an organization committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.
  • Access robust opportunities for continuing education, cross-training, and professional growth (including advanced cardiovascular certifications and leadership pathways).
  • Enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, with potential shift differentials and a supportive work culture that values work–life balance.
  • Make a meaningful impact on cardiovascular outcomes in your community by providing life-saving and life-enhancing procedures to patients every day.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Function as a scrub technologist, circulator, and/or monitor/recorder during procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to sterile technique.
  • Prepare procedure rooms prior to cases, ensuring availability and proper functioning of equipment, supplies, catheters, contrast media, and emergency medications per physician preference and protocol.
  • Provide technical support to physicians by anticipating needs, handing instruments, catheters, guidewires, and devices in a timely, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Perform detailed physiologic monitoring of patients during procedures, including continuous ECG monitoring, interpretation of heart rhythms/dysrhythmias, and blood pressure and hemodynamic assessment.
  • Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems and imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images and pressure waveforms in accordance with departmental standards and physician requirements.
  • Record all aspects of cardiovascular procedures accurately, including patient data, procedural steps, medications, devices used, fluoroscopy time, contrast volume, and complications, in designated systems and logs.
  • Analyze arterial and venous blood gas samples and respired gas samples using automated analyzers to help determine cardiac output, metabolic status, and oxygen saturation, and promptly communicate critical values to the care team.
  • Enter and verify patient information, procedural data, and charges in the electronic medical record (EMR) and/or specialized cath lab software in a timely and accurate manner, tailored to the age and needs of the patient population served.
  • Assist with vascular access preparation and management following appropriate scope of practice and facility protocols, including site preparation, patient positioning, and equipment setup.
