Job Duties

• Engage in the hands-on building, testing, and scaling of composite parts for aerospace and defense applications
• Collaborate with senior engineers to address and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Document issues and devise solutions to enhance manufacturing processes
• Conduct testing protocols to ensure parts meet rigorous aerospace and defense specifications.
• Continuously iterate new part designs to validate their performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in composite manufacturing and design
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit
• Ability to adapt and learn from constructive feedback

Preferred Experience

• Experience with CNC or manual machining
• Proficiency in hydraulic or high-tonnage press operations
• Familiarity with injection molding or resin transfer molding
• Knowledge of vacuum bagging and autoclave processes
• Exposure to additive manufacturing techniques
