Job Duties
- Operate, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment including CNC mills, lathes, mixing systems, and automated deposition tools
- Perform post-processing, machining, trimming, and finishing operations on composite parts
- Conduct dimensional checks, inspections, and quality verification using measurement tools
- Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain smooth production flow
- Support packaging, handling, and preparation of parts for customer shipment
- Collaborate with engineers and operations team members to improve processes and resolve issues
- Document production activities, observations, and equipment performance for internal reporting
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety across production areas
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in machining, manufacturing, or technician roles
- Experience operating CNC mills or lathes and using inspection tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
- Basic familiarity with composites, additive manufacturing, or electromechanical systems
- Ability to perform hands-on work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Clear communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in aerospace manufacturing or composite production
- Familiarity with extrusion-based or paste-based 3D printing platforms
- Knowledge of material mixing equipment or resin-based processes
- Experience working in small teams or early-stage companies
