Job Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the space and defense sectors.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify key trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscape insights.
  • Foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including those in NASA, the Department of Defense, and various commercial space organizations.
  • Drive customer engagement and revenue growth by leading negotiations and maintaining a consultative sales approach.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to design and present tailored solutions that align with client needs and highlight our robotic technologies.
  • Create, structure, and negotiate business agreements from initial needs assessment to finalized pricing and service proposals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year working within a high-growth startup environment, ideally pre-series B.
  • Proven track record in selling service-oriented solutions, specifically within space or defense sectors.
  • Expertise in proposal development, including financial assessment and technical content creation.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting and defense acquisition processes.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with solid market research skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, business, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing lengthy sales cycles and closing high-value contracts.
  • Proven success in securing contracts exceeding $10M within the aerospace or defense industries.

Compensation Details

$130,000 - $160,000
