Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategic business development plans to expand our footprint within space and defense industries.
  • Perform thorough market analysis to identify key opportunities and trends relevant to our target sectors.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with influential stakeholders, including those within NASA, the Department of Defense, and commercial space enterprises.
  • Oversee customer relationships and lead sales negotiations to drive company revenue through a consultative sales approach.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs and demonstrate our robotics capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end agreement development, from understanding business challenges to crafting pricing and service proposals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, program management, or systems engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a startup environment, ideally before the Series B funding stage.
  • Proven background in service-based sales for space or defense markets.
  • Familiarity with proposal development, cost estimation, and technical writing.
  • Knowledgeable about defense acquisition and government contracting processes.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and market research skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in aerospace engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Proven success in managing extended sales processes, negotiations, and securing major contracts.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing high-value contracts (above $10M) within aerospace or defense sectors.

Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation Details

$110,000 - $160,000
