As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of propulsion electronics, from initial design through testing and integration. This role blends PCB design, firmware development, and hands-on hardware work, contributing directly to systems that move from concept to flight.

Job Duties
- Design, analyze, and debug printed circuit boards for control and instrumentation systems
- Support integration of electrical components into flight hardware and propulsion systems
- Develop and maintain firmware and supporting software for embedded systems
- Create electrical schematics, interface documentation, and manufacturing drawings
- Build and support test infrastructure including ground support equipment, cable harnesses, and simulation setups
- Assist in assembling, integrating, and testing propulsion hardware from prototype through validation
- Apply system-level thinking to support electrical design within broader propulsion architectures
- Perform work in controlled lab environments including ESD-sensitive areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to execute technical plans and meet program milestones
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with engineering development processes and system lifecycles
- Experience with PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium, OrCAD, or similar
- Hands-on experience with electrical lab equipment including oscilloscopes and power supplies
- Basic programming experience in Python, C++, or similar languages
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must meet U.S. export control requirements
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of experience supporting spacecraft, propulsion, or related systems
- Experience designing and analyzing basic electronic circuits such as amplifiers or drivers
- Familiarity with embedded systems development and firmware workflows
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or similar
- Hands-on experience with electrical fabrication and rework tools
- Experience working in ESD-controlled environments
- Familiarity with industry standards and technical compliance requirements
- Experience with tools such as LabVIEW or similar testing frameworks
