Key Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and refine software applications using a range of modern programming tools and languages.
• Develop scalable, secure system architectures that evolve as the company grows.
• Translate functional business needs into technical solutions, collaborating closely with cross-departmental teams.
• Lead or contribute significantly to software development projects, making key decisions on design and architecture.
• Implement and maintain automated testing systems to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Draft documentation for development processes and operational workflows to support team best practices.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and updates.
• Occasionally provide customer support for technical inquiries, contributing to a positive user experience.
• Play a role in recruiting, training, and mentoring engineering team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Well-versed in full-stack development, comfortable working across front-end interfaces, backend services, and database management.
• Committed to best practices in modern software engineering, from code reviews to version control.
• Creative thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset; ready to innovate and iterate.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and transparency.
• Team-oriented with high emotional intelligence, contributing positively to company culture and team dynamics.
• Proven software development proficiency, evidenced by a GitHub portfolio, past projects, or similar examples of technical work.

Preferred Skills and Background:

• Experience with some or all of the following: Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Exposure to manufacturing or logistics software applications, with an understanding of industry-specific challenges.
• Background in compliance-based software development, especially in regulated fields like ITAR.
• Track record of working in fast-paced startup environments or in established technology companies.
• Skill in creating dynamic, visually compelling, and user-friendly web-based applications.

Security Clearance

• Must be able to obtain US Secret Clearance.

Compensation Details:

$130,000 - $190,000
