Integration Engineer – Join a High-Growth Hardware Startup Building Next-Gen Manufacturing Systems!

Gardena, CA | On-site

Opportunity Summary

A fast-growing hardware technology company in Los Angeles is building advanced manufacturing systems to support the next generation of high-performance communications hardware. The team is focused on scaling complex production environments that blend custom machinery, precision tooling, test infrastructure, and software into a unified, high-volume operation. This Integration Engineer role is a hands-on opportunity to own how machines, fixtures, test systems, and workflows come together on the factory floor. You will lead the technical integration of production equipment, support line bring-up and ramp, and ensure that systems are reliable, scalable, and ready for new product introductions. If you enjoy solving cross-disciplinary problems in fast-paced manufacturing environments, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.

About Us

We are a venture-backed manufacturing technology company focused on building scalable production systems for advanced hardware products. Our team blends mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering to create tightly integrated factory environments capable of supporting both rapid iteration and high-volume output. With a strong emphasis on operational excellence and technical ownership, we are building the foundation for one of the most advanced manufacturing operations in our sector.

Job Duties

• Drive production line bring-up, troubleshooting, and ramp activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and system interfaces

• Define and maintain system-level interfaces between equipment, material flow, tooling, and factory infrastructure

• Qualify new equipment, fixtures, and process updates to support product launches, process changes, and volume increases

Test Asset Ownership

• Own high-volume test systems across both production and development lab environments

• Maintain end-of-line test hardware, ensuring strong performance, uptime, and long-term reliability

• Design, build, and integrate custom test fixtures and hardware interfaces for qualification and manufacturing

• Ensure test systems meet throughput, accuracy, and reliability requirements

• Lead test readiness efforts for new product revisions and production scale-ups

Test Software and Automation

• Partner with software engineers to develop systems that control and interface with test hardware

• Contribute to Python-based tools for automation, hardware interaction, and data analysis

• Work within Linux-based environments to support testing and integration workflows

• Support continuous integration test environments that validate system changes before factory deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated hands-on project experience showing strong technical ownership

• Systems-level thinking across mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing domains

• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and production teams in fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience
