The Company:


Our client is a Canadian owned Food Agri business supplying customers across Canada in the Food Service and Retail / Grocery channels. They are constantly innovating and launching great new products for families across the country as well as setting new standards for sustainability and environmentally responsible food production techniques.


The Opportunity:


In this position, you will provide sales administration support to the Sales team as well as assist the President with key customer support. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills related to order and data management. You will be part of a cross-functional team with a primary focus in Ontario, supporting business across the country.


Experience supporting or working with major Retail / Food Service customers such as Loblaw, Sobeys, Metro, Sysco, Gordon Food Services would be an asset.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

·      Work directly with the Procurement, Sales and Operations teams to track commodity pricing, costing fluctuations, inventory levels and product availability.

·      Process day to day quote activity including order entry;

·      Provide sales administration support including updating templates, options and customer worksheets;

·      Maintain and populate various accounting and customer databases;

·      Provide preliminary responses to customer and distributer inquiries;

·      Trade and Category management support duties with Retail / Grocery and Food Service customers

·      Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Key Qualifications & Competencies:


  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management and/or equivalent experience in a related role;
  • 3+ years experience in a CSR, Customer Support, Sales Administration or Executive Assistant role
  • Exceptional customer service skills enhanced by excellent written and verbal communication;
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated organization and time management skills;
  • Self-starter, flexible and self-motivated;
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
  • Strong analytical thinking skills; in order to develop plans, strategies and tactics;
  • High energy and a positive attitude; proactive
  • Order entry experience;
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or CRM experience 


Ability to commute/relocate.
