Compensation: $110k–$125k+ DOE

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for federal, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Lead project phases from concept through construction, coordinating across disciplines and with external stakeholders.
- Mentor EITs/junior engineers and delegate technical work.
- Conduct inspections and field visits.
- Stay current on codes, standards, and best practices for Arctic and rural conditions.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative problem-solver.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail; effective time and budget management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (ability to obtain Alaska licensure within 6 months preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in one or more of:
- Lighting and facility controls
- Telecommunications (RCDD certification preferred)
- Power generation/distribution
- Pumping systems & industrial controls
- Water/wastewater, lighting, telecom, and controls
- UFC/UFGS standards, Arctic design, and hazardous locations
- Experience with SCADA systems preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Willingness to travel occasionally for field work.
- Ability to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
