ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager will oversee mechanical construction projects in the Central Oregon region, coordinating field and office teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. With approximately $20 million in upcoming work planned over the next two years across multiple commercial and institutional projects, this role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction.
This position is based in Bend, Oregon, and requires a strong on-site presence working closely with field personnel, subcontractors, and general contractors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple mechanical construction projects concurrently.
• Prepare and present proposals, cost reports, billings, and projections.
• Review drawings and manage change orders, contracts, and documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, field teams, and leadership.
• Mentor and support junior project engineers and emerging team members.
• Participate in scheduling, procurement, and progress tracking.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and field operations.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives.
• Complete close-out documentation and ensure seamless project transitions.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Several years of mechanical project management experience, ideally in commercial construction.
• Experience with MEP systems, with emphasis on mechanical trades.
• Operationally strong with proven ability to lead or mentor others.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted.
• PMP or related certifications are a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, specs, and contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Salary: $100,000–$130,000 DOE (senior candidates may exceed range)
