Job Title: Project Architect (Registered Architect)

Location: Bend, Oregon (On-site/Hybrid as needed)

Salary Range: $105,000 – $145,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

HireIQ Solutions is leading the search for a Project Architect to join a design-forward architecture and planning studio based in Bend, Oregon. This award-winning team is known for thoughtful, community-centered design across a diverse range of project types, including civic and cultural spaces, commercial and workplace environments, educational facilities, hospitality venues, housing developments, and recreational projects.

Position Overview

The Project Architect will lead projects from concept through completion, with the authority to sign and stamp drawings as a registered architect. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative studio environment, blending strong design sensibility, technical rigor, and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design and documentation for projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Stamp and sign architectural documents as a registered architect.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning requirements, and sustainability objectives.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a supportive, creative studio culture.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and community engagement activities.


Qualifications

  • Active architectural license (Oregon registration or eligible for reciprocity).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 5–10 years of professional experience, including demonstrated project leadership.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp and Enscape experience a plus.
  • Strong design portfolio showing both conceptual creativity and technical execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
