Civil Engineer – Water & Wastewater

Location: Southeast Queensland

Salary: $120K to $145K + benefits

As a Civil Engineer – Water & Wastewater, you’ll take ownership of design and delivery across pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. You’ll work alongside senior engineers with deep local knowledge and have the chance to see your designs come to life across Southeast Queensland’s most significant regional infrastructure projects.


What You’ll Deliver

  • Civil design and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
  • Input across feasibility, concept, and detailed design phases.
  • Close collaboration with clients, councils, and authorities to ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Site support through construction, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Contribution to tenders, design reports, and technical documentation.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (essential).
  • RPEQ or CPEng registration is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design or project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of local design standards and council requirements.
  • Proficiency with design software such as 12d, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to collaboration.
