The Opportunity

• The team is widely recognised for its work on significant transactions, sensitive tax disputes and complex ATO engagements
• This role provides exposure to both advisory and contentious tax work, including public and private transactions, and disputes
• You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and to develop strong technical depth alongside commercial judgement
• The practice places a premium on precision, strategic thinking and practical problem-solving

About you

• You will be a tax lawyer with 2-4 years’ post-admission experience gained in private practice, with excellent academic results and a genuine interest in taxation law
• You’ll bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify and work through complex technical issues
• You’ll be commercially minded, confident working closely with clients and colleagues, and motivated to continue developing as a well-rounded tax practitioner
