Epic Implementation Analyst - Radiant

Summary:

As an Epic Implementation Analyst for the Radiant module, you will be the primary resource for building and implementing radiology applications within Epic and applicable third-party systems. This role involves guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the Radiant module integrates seamlessly with other clinical applications and systems. A key responsibility will include providing guidance and mentorship to end users and junior team members throughout the implementation process.


Professional Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation process by hitting key milestones and deliverables for the Radiant module.
  • Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of Radiant with other clinical and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate build and testing with other third-party systems to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
  • Guide the workflow design, build, and testing processes for the Radiant module.
  • Implement requested changes and ensure proper system configuration to meet the organization’s operational needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users, workflow needs, and Epic representatives.
  • Participate in ongoing project meetings, providing regular status updates, including deliverables, timelines, and issue tracking.
  • Lead training sessions and offer mentorship to junior team members and end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the project’s implementation phase.
  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives to ensure all configurations align with best practices.
  • Ensure the project milestones are met within budget and on time by collaborating with the project leadership.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows and integration with the Epic system.
  • Familiarity with Epic's Orion toolset.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide, and support junior team members.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Epic implementations and/or Community Connect is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites (e.g., Mississippi).


Education and Experience:

  • Epic Radiant Certification required.
  • At least five years of Epic Radiant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience in Epic implementation and/or Community Connect is preferred.
  • Experience providing mentorship or leadership in a project setting is a plus.


Estimated Duration:

January 2025 to March 2026.
