Role Overview

The Senior Enterprise Strategist is a high-impact, outbound-focused role designed to drive new business growth through targeted outreach and strategic relationship building with enterprise clients. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this role focuses on acquiring new Fortune 1000 accounts, advancing Mamava’s mission, and delivering innovative lactation solutions to corporate clients. As a pivotal contributor to Mamava’s revenue growth, the Senior Enterprise Strategist will leverage consultative sales approaches, build lasting relationships, and drive strategic account wins. This role suits a dynamic, motivated sales professional with a deep commitment to Mamava’s mission of supporting mothers in the workplace.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  • Prospecting: Conduct proactive outbound activities, including cold calls, networking at relevant conferences, and engagement in professional groups, targeting high-potential enterprise accounts.
  • Value-Based Selling: Develop expert-level knowledge to position Mamava’s solutions as value-adds, converting opportunities with strategic insight.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets for Mamava’s pods and services.
  • Consultative Engagement: Facilitate enterprise account buy-in for full-scale lactation programs, establishing Mamava as a go-to partner.
  • Client Interaction: Regularly meet with customers in-person to foster meaningful, long-lasting relationships.
  • Account Acquisition: Secure 5-10 new enterprise accounts annually, focusing on accounts with multi-year revenue potential.


Sales Management

  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage all account aspects, including opportunity identification, account planning, contract negotiations, and multi-year agreements.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct outbound calls and in-person meetings to qualify, educate, and close opportunities.
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain a robust 5X pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts, utilizing HubSpot for CRM tracking.


Strategic Business Planning

  • Account Planning: Develop detailed strategic account plans that map decision-makers, assess account potential, and outline action steps.
  • Market Insights: Relay industry trends and client feedback to leadership, supporting strategic planning and innovation.


Relationship Development

  • C-Level Engagement: Establish connections with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, ensuring engagement and buy-in for lactation programs.
  • Customer Voice: Provide product feedback and competitive intelligence to drive product improvement and sales strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in sales with 4+ years focused on enterprise sales, consistently meeting quotas.
  • Willingness for 30-50% travel, including overnight and air travel.
  • Strong capability in business planning, account management, and opportunity analysis.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and secure new business through consultative selling and multi-level prospecting.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Positive, proactive team player with high energy, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
