Role Overview:

As the Lead Architectural Executive, you will be the face of the organization on the design-build side, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring architectural projects meet the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects, influence the company's architectural vision, and work hands-on with cross-functional teams.

This role requires full-time, in-office presence, with travel to project sites within an hour's drive from the main office. Strong leadership and strategic oversight are critical, with an emphasis on driving the department forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a growing team of architects, managing between 3-6 staff members, with an eye on increasing departmental capacity as needed.
  • Oversee the architectural design process from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with codes and standards while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize your architectural license and in-depth code knowledge to provide expert guidance on complex projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve financial, design, staffing, and scheduling challenges.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of construction documents, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and client expectations.
  • Engage in strategic planning to grow the department and enhance operational workflows.
  • Work closely with engineering and construction teams to drive project execution and innovation.
  • Apply advanced skills in REVIT to supervise design processes and ensure seamless integration with company systems (though this is not a drafting role).
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor compliance with architectural designs and address any issues in real-time.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and leadership.
  • Proven experience managing a team of architectural professionals, with the ability to inspire and lead a department toward growth.
  • Strong expertise in building codes, construction processes, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is required; strong understanding of drafting and design tools is essential.
  • Exceptional client management and communication skills, with a track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and drive operational improvements.

Benefits:

Our client offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing architectural team. This role provides a platform for personal and professional development within an industry-leading organization.
