Personal Lines Client Services Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused Personal Lines Client Services Representative to support and service a growing personal insurance client base.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, building long-term client relationships, and working in a fast-paced, professional office environment. The role focuses on servicing existing clients, assisting with policy changes and renewals, supporting account retention efforts, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across personal insurance lines including Auto, Home, Umbrella, Renters, and related products.



We are looking for a dependable team member who is organized, proactive, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Prior insurance experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. Candidates with backgrounds in banking, customer service, mortgage, escrow, medical administration, property management, hospitality, or financial services are encouraged to apply.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with policy servicing requests, including policy changes, renewals, billing inquiries, and documentation
  • Respond professionally to client calls, emails, and service requests
  • Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates
  • Support account retention and client relationship management efforts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate client records and agency documentation
  • Follow up on underwriting requirements and carrier requests
  • Assist producers and agency leadership with operational support
  • Maintain knowledge of personal insurance products and carrier guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented office culture



Qualifications

  • Prior customer service or account management experience preferred
  • California Property & Casualty license preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Basic computer and office software proficiency
