Turn Existing Client Relationships into Life Insurance Opportunities
We’re looking for a motivated, fully licensed life insurance professional to join a family-owned insurance agency with an established book of business. Instead of spending your day searching for strangers to call or building a book from scratch, you’ll focus on connecting with existing agency clients, identifying coverage needs, and helping them find the right life insurance solutions.
If you’re comfortable picking up the phone, creating opportunities through consistent outreach, and following a sales process from conversation to close, this could be a great fit.
About the Role
As a Life Insurance Sales Specialist, you’ll focus exclusively on developing life insurance opportunities within the agency’s existing client base.
You’ll proactively connect with current households and business clients, conduct needs assessments, recommend appropriate coverage, and guide clients through the life insurance sales process.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident on the phone, comfortable with high-volume outreach, and motivated by both helping clients protect what matters most and creating strong earning potential.
What You’ll Do
-
Proactively contact existing agency clients to identify potential life insurance needs and opportunities
- Conduct consistent outbound calls and client follow-up throughout the day
- Review existing client relationships to identify households and business clients who may benefit from additional life insurance coverage
- Conduct life insurance needs assessments and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare quotes and present life insurance options to clients
- Guide prospects through the sales process from initial conversation through close
- Consistently follow up with clients and prospects to keep opportunities moving forward
- Maintain an organized pipeline of active opportunities and upcoming follow-ups
- Document client conversations, sales activity, and pipeline updates within agency systems
-
Partner with Personal Lines and Commercial Lines teams to uncover additional life insurance opportunities
- Meet or exceed established monthly sales, production, and activity goals
- Maintain strong knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting requirements, and sales processes
What You’ll Bring
- Active and current Life Insurance license required
-
Previous life insurance sales experience
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and the life insurance sales process
- Confidence conducting a high volume of outbound client calls
- Strong phone presence and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients
- Strong objection-handling and closing skills
- Confidence asking for the sale and moving opportunities toward a decision
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Ability to independently manage an active sales pipeline
- Self-motivated and comfortable working toward established activity and production goals
- Results-driven mindset with motivation to grow sales and earning potential
What We Offer
-
Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity
-
Access to an established book of business
- Opportunity to sell to clients who already have a relationship with the agency
- Less emphasis on building a prospect list from scratch
- Consistent opportunities to cross-sell life insurance within existing Personal Lines and Commercial relationships
-
Performance-driven earning opportunity with uncapped earning potential
- Opportunity to take ownership of your pipeline and directly impact your results
- Collaborative environment within an established, family-owned insurance agency
