Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading plant maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of all plant assets and equipment. This role oversees maintenance personnel and contractors while supporting productivity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead maintenance, electrical, and engineering activities to support operational and long-term business objectives.
· Direct equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, outages, and reliability improvement efforts.
· Develop and manage maintenance and capital budgets, KPIs, and maintenance processes.
· Promote a proactive maintenance and asset reliability culture.
· Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel, including mechanics and electricians.
· Manage contractors and coordinate cross-functional communication with operations and plant leadership.
· Ensure compliance with EH&S standards, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices.
· Support continuous improvement, cost optimization, and plant productivity initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
· 5–10 years of maintenance leadership experience in mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, cement, lime, or minerals processing operations.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, conveyor, crushing, and heavy equipment systems.
· Experience with reliability programs, preventive maintenance, budgeting, and project management.
· Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
