HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

The Human Resources Manager reports to the General Manager – Operations and leads the delivery of HR services across our mining operation. This role partners with the Senior Leadership Team to drive effective workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives that align with the Company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe and compliant HR practices by adhering to Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, with a proactive approach to continuous Occupational, Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.
• Operational HR Leadership: Implement HR strategies and solutions across workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
• Employee Relations: Manage employee and industrial relations, supporting a positive work culture aligned with the Company’s Core Values.
• Team Development & Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing HR department.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of five years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Proven HR experience within the mining or heavy industry sectors, with strong knowledge of relevant MSHA or industry regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on resilience, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
