Role Introduction

We're seeking a hands-on Product Designer who's looking for an end to end role where they can have measurable impact with a fun, and fast moving team with more than 100k users.


About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, profitable gaming startup with rapid user growth (>100k users) and expanding their product suite. With a fun and dynamic culture, they've built a flat-structured organisation where every team member has genuine influence and outsized impact.


The team is primarily Melbourne-based with some members across Asia, creating a global perspective whilst maintaining a close-knit startup energy. They're working on cutting-edge technology that's building products for our web3 digital future.


The company, only two years in, has nailed their market fit with a global product and is highly profitable allowing them to expand into other areas.


About the Role

This is an end-to-end product design role where you'll work closely with another designer and collaborate directly with customer-facing stakeholders including the CEO and Customer Support team. You'll be creating practical UX solutions that directly drive product development in a hands-on, high-impact environment.


This is a senior PD role, however we're also open to see Mid levels looking to step up.


What you'll be doing:

  • Designing complete user experiences from initial concept through to implementation
  • Strong UI design skills with expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tools, able to create pixel-perfect interfaces and comprehensive design systems
  • Collaborating directly with leadership and the Customer Support team to understand user behaviour and their user needs
  • Contributing to product strategy through hands-on design work and objective UX research

Skills and Experience


Essential:

  • 3+ years of product design experience in fast-paced or startup environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and user-centred thinking
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
  • Experience working directly with technical teams and translating complex requirements


Desirable:

  • Understanding of frontend development constraints and basic web technologies (HTML/CSS)
  • Experience in Gaming or Crypto product design
