Guiding Responsibilities
Financial Responsibilities:
• Perform data entry and verification for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), purchase orders, and accruals.
• Support month-end closing processes and assist with financial reporting.
• Maintain and update financial files and records in accordance with audit and policy requirements.
• Ensure all financial documents are complete, accurate, and properly authorized before processing.
• Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the accounting system.
• Reconcile financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Process and issue cheques for accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner.
• Record and verify financial transactions in the computerized accounting system.
• Maintain confidentiality on all the matters relating to the affairs of the Blueberry River First Nations.
• Maintain a working knowledge and adherence of BRFN Administration and Human Resources Policy.
