As part of this evolution, Agrocrop is seeking a Vice President, Finance to join the executive leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s strategic and financial direction. This is a transformational leadership opportunity for a forward‑thinking finance executive who can bridge strategy and execution, strengthen governance, and build a scalable, high‑performing finance function to support sustained growth. 


The VP, Finance will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and senior leadership, providing financial insight to guide decision‑making, optimise performance, and enable expansion. While maintaining appropriate oversight of core financial operations, the primary mandate is to elevate finance into a strategic business partner and drive long‑term value creation.


YOUR DAY TO DAY: 

  • Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to corporate strategy, growth planning, and organizational transformation  
  • Partner closely with ownership and operational leadership to translate strategic objectives into financial plans, KPIs, and measurable outcomes  
  • Lead enterprise‑wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities  
  • Provide forward‑looking financial insights, scenario modelling, and data‑driven recommendations to support strategic decision‑making  
  • Oversee financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities and driving proactive, data‑informed actions  
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing finance team across accounting, FP&A, and treasury functions  
  • Drive the maturation and professionalization of finance processes, systems, and internal controls  
  • Oversee cash flow strategy, working capital optimization, and capital allocation to support growth initiatives  
  • Manage senior banking relationships, financing structures, and foreign exchange exposure across cross‑border operations  
  • Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions  
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and systems implementation  
  • Champion a data‑driven culture by improving reporting, analytics, and business insights across the organization  
  • Partner with operations to embed financial discipline into decision‑making and enhance overall business performance 


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • CPA designation required; undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline 
  • 10+ years of progressive senior financial leadership experience 
  • Proven experience operating within a high‑growth, entrepreneurial, or family‑owned environment undergoing transformation 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a track record of building and scaling finance functions 
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience partnering closely with operations in a manufacturing or food environment (preferred) 
  • Experience managing banking relationships, financing structures, and foreign currency exposure 
  • Track record of driving process improvement, systems implementation, and organizational change 
  • Collaborative, hands‑on leader with strong influencing skills and the ability to build credibility at all levels of the organization
