Vice President, Marketing & Growth


Moto Canada is a national, not-for-profit industry association representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, side-by-sides (ROVs), and related powersports industries across Canada. As the voice of the industry, Moto Canada plays a critical role in advancing public policy that supports responsible use, innovation, safety, sustainability, and long-term industry growth within an increasingly complex regulatory environment.


Operating at the intersection of industry, government, and riders, Moto Canada collaborates closely with policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and stakeholders across Canada to shape legislation and influence policy outcomes that impact its members nationwide.


As part of its evolution, Moto Canada has launched Moto Connect an industry intelligence and data platform designed to unlock new commercial opportunities, strengthen member engagement, and provide market-leading insights.


The Vice President, Marketing & Growth will play a critical leadership role within Moto Connect and across Moto Canada, leading the development of revenue-generating products, go-to-market strategy, and brand positioning.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the organization’s brand and growth strategy, identifying and developing new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and business models
  • Drive the evolution and growth of national events, enhancing attendance, engagement, sponsorship value, and overall experience
  • Develop and expand sponsorships, partnerships, and commercial initiatives across events, digital platforms, and industry programs
  • Build and strengthen member, dealer, and stakeholder engagement across the Canadian powersports ecosystem
  • Identify and commercialize market intelligence, data, and industry insights into value-added products and services
  • Enhance Moto Canada’s national profile through strategic communications, digital engagement, and industry positioning
  • Support the development of year-round audience engagement initiatives beyond the traditional event calendar
  • Partner with industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, dealers, media, and government, to strengthen relationships and drive participation
  • Lead and support the development of innovative programming, activations, and audience experiences
  • Provide insights on market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry dynamics to inform strategy
  • Contribute to organizational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overall business performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth

                                             

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of leadership experience in business development, partnerships, events, media, marketing, or commercial strategy
  • Proven track record of developing new revenue streams, sponsorships, or strategic partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution
  • Experience operating in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, or high-growth environments
  • Strong understanding of audience development, experiential marketing, and digital engagement
  • Experience with market intelligence, analytics, or data product commercialization is an asset
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a lean organization
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French


WORK ARRANGEMENT

  • Hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Travel within Canada required, particularly during event season
