LANGLEY, BC

$115,000 - $135,000

About YAAT Group of Companies

Yard at a Time Group of Companies (YAAT) operates as a key partner within the materials supply division of the broader BM Group of Companies. The BM Group is a British Columbia based portfolio of complementary businesses serving the construction industry, with services spanning project management, construction support, materials supply, and development solutions. The materials supply portfolio includes ready mix concrete, precast concrete, and related building materials that serve residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. With established production facilities and a growing fleet, the group is well positioned to support projects of varying scale while maintaining a strong focus on reliability, quality, and service. In addition to concrete supply, the portfolio includes a precast manufacturing operation offering a broad catalogue of precast concrete products to meet diverse project requirements. The Controller role sits within the YAAT Group of Companies and is responsible for financial oversight across this materials supply group, working closely with operational leadership and the BM Group partnership.

About the Controller Role

The Controller will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial operations of multiple companies within the Materials Supply Segment of BM Group. As a trusted partner to ownership and operational leadership, this individual will be relied upon for their financial acumen, sound judgment, and ability to translate complex financial information into clear insight that supports strong business decision-making. The Controller will be accountable for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and disciplined financial management across a multi-entity operating environment. This is a role for a leader who leads by example, earns trust through action, and can build strong working relationships across the group.
