We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled and motivated Construction Estimator to lead estimating efforts for a growing developer and general contractor that genuinely cares about what they build and who they build for. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Estimating Ground Up Construction projects in a competitive bid environment. This would include creating detailed estimates for State and Local Government Projects, Education, Commercial Design Build Projects, and other Competitive Bid Situations. The candidate will be able to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to acquire multiple bids per division for multiple projects in a wide geographical area. Commercial Projects consisting of horizontal and vertical construction, and interior build outs. This role is crucial in ensuring successful budgeting, coverage, scheduling, and execution of our projects. Proper execution of the role would maintain our commitment to relationships, timeline guarantees, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years experience estimating full time.
• Numbers oriented person
• Proficient in construction estimating software (Procore).
• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel *****
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as LEED, PMP, or similar are a plus.
