We are seeking an experienced and skilled Master Plumber to manage new plumbing construction projects in Wilmington, NC. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for new construction projects, ensuring compliance with all local and state plumbing codes.
  • Lead a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing mentorship, training, and direction to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and engineers to review blueprints, determine project specifications, and manage timelines.
  • Inspect plumbing work during and after installation to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with building codes.
  • Handle procurement of plumbing materials, including ordering and managing inventory for each project.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, and final inspections.
  • Ensure safety regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining a safe and compliant worksite.


Qualifications:

  • Active Master Plumber license in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain one).
  • 7+ years of experience in the plumbing industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and installation practices for residential and commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale plumbing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding project specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
