  • Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Run the buyout process: bid scoping, leveling, and awarding trade packages

Build relationships

  • Serve as the trusted day-to-day contact for owners, design teams, and consultants
  • Maintain strong, fair partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Lead productive OAC meetings and communicate clearly, honestly, and proactively

Support the team

  • Partner closely with Superintendents, Estimators, and Preconstruction on constructability, value engineering, and handoff
  • Mentor assistant PMs, project engineers, and field staff
  • Contribute to improving company processes, tools, and lessons learned

  • Proficiency with [Procore / Bluebeam / MS Project / P6 / Sage, etc. to be confirmed]
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with the Raleigh-Durham market and its owner, design, and subcontractor community is a plus

The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
