We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership skills and a proven track record in commercial and government projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Manage day-to-day field operations, including coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and government agencies to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Facilitate progress meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any concerns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Construction Superintendent, preferably on commercial and state/local government projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with workplace safety regulations.
  • Ability to pass background checks required for government projects.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
