Site Supervisor Job Description


Our Client is an experienced luxury custom builder serving the Raleigh, Durham, and Cary Market for 25 years, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, good leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage large projects efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a large construction project from start to finish.
  • Read and follow architectural, landscape, and site plans.
  • Shoot grades and establish FFE based on plans using a laser level.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with building plans, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Have a strong familiarity with grading, poured foundations, framing details, masonry, and interior and exterior construction.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and approve invoices.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of construction experience.
  • Proficient in reading Architectural and Landscape Architectural plans.
  • Ability to shoot grades with a laser level.
  • Strong understanding of poured concrete foundations, framing details, interior and exterior trim details.
  • Experience in scheduling and managing subcontractors.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
