A local Wilmington General Contractor that is a leader in delivering high-quality commercial construction projects, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join it's team in Wilmington. If you’re passionate about leading successful construction projects and have a track record of ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency, this opportunity is for you.

 

Responsibilities:

 

               •             Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

               •             Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and schedules.

               •             Ensure adherence to safety regulations and implement safety protocols on-site.

               •             Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.

               •             Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure all work complies with codes and standards.

               •             Maintain accurate records of job site activities, reports, and schedules.

               •             Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.

               •             Proactively identify potential issues and delays, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.

 

Qualifications:

 

               •             Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.

               •             Extensive knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.

               •             Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

               •             Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

               •             Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.

               •             Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools.

               •             A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
