We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Placement Account Manager with a strong focus on new business development, specifically within the real estate sector. This fully remote role requires a proactive insurance professional who excels at placing new commercial lines accounts, building client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions for real estate clients. Proficiency with the EPIC agency management system and a proven track record in real estate insurance are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the placement and onboarding of new commercial lines accounts, with a primary focus on real estate clients.
- Serve as the main point of contact for prospective clients, producers, and carrier partners throughout the new business process.
- Analyze client exposures, coverage needs, and risk profiles to recommend appropriate insurance solutions and negotiate terms with carriers.
- Prepare and submit applications, obtain and compare quotes, and coordinate policy binding and issuance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy records in the EPIC agency management system.
- Collaborate with producers and account executives to support business development activities and ensure seamless client onboarding.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding coverage options, exclusions, and risk management best practices.
- Ensure all documentation meets agency standards and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial lines account management, with a significant focus on real estate accounts.
- Demonstrated success in new business placement and client acquisition within the insurance industry.
- Proficiency with the EPIC agency management system is required.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products, especially as they pertain to real estate portfolios.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ACSR, or CISR.
- Experience handling large property accounts or complex real estate portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
