Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a San Francisco-based private investment office and family office in the search for an experienced Associate to join their growing Client Services team.

THE ROLE

This position will work closely with senior members of the Client Services team to support ultra-high-net-worth families. Responsibilities include managing banking needs, charitable giving, insurance, real estate transactions, reporting, and ad hoc financial and estate planning support. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, responsive, and committed to delivering best-in-class client service.


KEY AREAS OF FOCUS

Project & Task Execution

  • Respond to daily, high-volume client service requests with accuracy and professionalism
  • Review client invoices, coordinate approvals, and track payments with accounting
  • Validate client reports for accuracy, consistency, and formatting
  • Analyze financial and investment data to support internal decision-making
  • Assist with P&C insurance policy management
  • Draft memos, letters, and client communications as needed
  • Support client foundations, including donation tracking and investment reporting


Client Support

  • Support financial and estate planning initiatives
  • Manage banking needs, credit card applications, and account openings
  • Facilitate major real estate transactions by coordinating with service providers
  • Set up utility accounts and other vendor relationships
  • Assist with household employment setup, including background checks and insurance
  • Monitor and follow up on client credit activity
  • Handle additional client needs and projects as they arise


Organization & Documentation

  • Maintain client data in Salesforce
  • Document internal procedures for consistency and compliance
  • Track open action items and provide timely updates to team leadership


THE TEAM

You’ll join a 15+ member Client Services team, organized into sub-teams aligned to specific family relationships. The team functions as the primary point of contact for clients and is known for its high performance, collaboration, and deep client engagement. You’ll contribute to both recurring and special projects while benefiting from a supportive culture that emphasizes mentorship and continuous growth.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of experience supporting complex, ultra-high-net-worth individuals/families
  • Strong foundation in financial concepts such as cash flow, estate planning, trust structures, and tax strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
