Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a growing and independently owned insurance agency in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. With a strong foundation and a collaborative culture, the agency has grown significantly in recent years and is now looking for a seasoned individual who can contribute immediately while also growing into a leadership role within the personal lines department.

Position Highlights:
- Join a team of 9–10 professionals in the Personal Lines department
- Step into a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Wednesday, remote Tuesday and Friday
- Opportunity to evolve into a team lead over time, taking on training, PTO coordination, and mentorship responsibilities
- Direct mentorship from leadership and future collaboration with an operations manager
Initial Requirements:
- Must obtain an active Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license within 60 days of employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to clients, delivering outstanding customer service.
- Handle routine policy updates and adjustments.
- Respond to client inquiries with clarity and care.
- Enter accurate data to support new insurance quotes.
- Re-market and re-quote policies for existing clients when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to enhance client coverage.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

- Candidates with 5+ years in an independent insurance agency setting are strongly preferred.
