Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a respected independent, privately held brokerage to identify a Property & Casualty Producer to join their Commercial Lines team. This role will focus on developing new client relationships while deepening and retaining existing accounts, playing a key role in the agency’s continued growth and client service excellence.

Position Summary
The Property & Casualty Producer is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client renewals, and delivering tailored risk management solutions to a wide variety of accounts. The position requires a proactive and relationship-driven professional capable of providing consultative insurance expertise, building long-term partnerships, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction while consistently meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects, scheduling appointments and presenting tailored insurance solutions to address client needs.
- Collect and analyze information required to underwrite, market, and quote new and renewal accounts.
- Oversee delivery and execution of client service in collaboration with account management teams, including renewals, coverage reviews, financial evaluations, benchmarking, and placement of business.
- Design and implement sales strategies that expand the firm’s market presence and client base.
- Build strong networking and referral networks with centers of influence, prospective clients, and industry partners.
- Qualify business opportunities according to company underwriting criteria and new business guidelines.
- Stay current on insurance markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Continuously enhance sales skills by incorporating techniques introduced through company training resources.
- Present plan designs, renewal strategies, and alternative coverage solutions in a consultative, professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing sales meetings, training, and development opportunities.
- Ensure timely, responsive, and professional communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
- Work a full-time schedule with the ability to travel for business development and client meetings as required.
- Perform other responsibilities as necessary to contribute to business objectives.
Desired Education, Skills, and Experience
- Active state Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Property & Casualty sales, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
- Professional presence with strong consultative and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of insurance coverages, forms, and risk management principles.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related office software.
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently to drive results.
