Overview
Harrison Gray Search has been engaged by a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) focused on health insurance to identify a skilled Implementation / Account Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the onboarding and implementation of new accounts and business partners, ensuring the seamless integration of systems and processes. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal departments, and external partners—driving positive outcomes through strong communication, project management, and a deep understanding of health plan administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end implementation process for new clients and partners.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines to ensure timely service delivery.
- Act as the main liaison between internal departments, external partners, and clients during onboarding.
- Facilitate regular implementation meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure client requirements are accurately translated into system and procedural specifications.
- Review and understand plan documentation, contracts, and benefit designs.
- Provide ongoing account management post-implementation, addressing inquiries, changes, and escalated issues.
- Conduct periodic client reviews to measure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate updates regarding regulatory changes, system enhancements, and service offerings.
- Collaborate with compliance, IT, claims, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
- Track and report implementation and account management metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of client-facing experience within a TPA, insurance, benefits administration, or related healthcare setting.
- Experience with Accident and Health (A&H) or ERISA-regulated employee benefit plans strongly preferred.
- Project Management or industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CEBS) are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with benefit administration platforms, CRM tools, project management software, and database systems preferred.
