We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support talent sourcing efforts for cleared programs. This role will focus primarily on identifying, researching, and building pipelines of cleared candidates across technical and mission-support skill sets. The intern will work closely with the recruiting team to support proactive sourcing strategies, candidate market research, and pipeline development for high-priority cleared requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive sourcing of candidates with active DoD security clearances (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI as applicable)
- Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines for cleared technical and mission support roles
- Utilize sourcing platforms (e.g., ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search tools) to identify qualified candidates
- Perform resume research and talent mapping to support requisition strategy
- Assist with initial outreach messaging and candidate engagement coordination
- Maintain accurate candidate data within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Support development and refinement of Boolean search strings and sourcing strategies
- Partner with recruiters to support ongoing pipeline needs and priority requisitions
- Assist with sourcing projects and labor market research as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree program (HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred)
- Strong interest in talent sourcing, recruiting operations, and government contracting
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms for cleared talent (e.g., ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools)
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple research tasks
- Comfortable learning new sourcing tools and techniques quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Boolean search logic and sourcing methodologies
- Familiarity with DoD, intelligence community, or federal contracting environments
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time, remote (10–25 hours per week, flexible with academic schedule)
- Paid internship (hourly rate based on experience and location)
Learning Outcomes:
- Hands-on experience in cleared talent sourcing and pipeline development
- Exposure to DoD recruiting ecosystems and cleared labor markets
- Practical use of ATS and sourcing tools in a professional environment
- Development of Boolean search, research, and talent mapping skills
