The Contract Program Manager is responsible for directing, managing, and administrating the accomplishment of all tasks required by the SOW to ensure completion of program activities within the established budget and schedule. The CPM shall serve as the primary management point of contact for Contractor support allocated to the IMUA contract, oversee the accomplishment of the tasks (SOW), and ensure the delivery of the associated CDRLs.
Responsible for the overall management and execution of the contract, serving as the primary point of contact for contract performance, customer engagement, staffing, deliverables, schedule, and quality. Provides leadership and oversight of acquisition, program management, financial, and business operations support to NGA, ensuring contract requirements are met and mission objectives are achieved. Coordinates with government stakeholders and contractor personnel to proactively address risks, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government and oversee overall IMUA Mapping, Charting, & Geodesy (MC&G) contract performance and execution.
- Lead day-to-day program operations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, SOW, deliverables, and performance standards.
- Manage and provide oversight of contractor personnel, staffing, workload, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with NGA stakeholders to understand mission requirements, priorities, and evolving operational needs.
- Oversee program schedules, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Monitor contract budget, financial performance, labor utilization, and resource requirements.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Lead program status meetings and provide regular reporting to Government and corporate leadership.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of acquisition, program management, financial, and business operations support.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and proactively identify opportunities to improve mission support and contract performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in a Business-related field and seven (7) years of Program Management experience with demonstrated ability to lead contracts of similar scope and complexity.
- In lieu of a Master’s degree, the CPM shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field and ten (10) years of Program Management experience with demonstrated ability to lead contracts of similar scope and complexity
- Experience managing projects within the DoW/IC
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable certification
