Multi-Discipline Civil Engineering Firm in Dallas is adding to their water resources department and is looking for a Registered Professional Engineer to join and provide technical expertise and oversight on a surplus of projects. This role is primarily a design focused and technical role heavily involved in start-to-finish design of water resources related projects for residential, commercial, transportation, municipal, and public works markets. Ideally, the candidate can actually help develop the water resources department even more by getting involved in business development and project management however it is not a requirement.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of water resources design experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and HEC software for design, hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and calculations, and flow modeling. Civil 3D and HEC working knowledge in conjunction with Microstation for transportation related projects is a huge plus. Requirements:
• Professionally registered; P.E. certification
• 5+ years of experience
• Civil 3D and HEC working knowledge, Microstation in addition in a huge plus
• Ability to supervise over junior engineers and designers for QAQC adherence
• Preferred ability to develop business, manage projects, and acquire clients and projects, but not required
