Our client is a growing Financial Advisory firm looking for a key leader to help shape the strategic direction and operational framework of their expanding practice. You’ll play a pivotal role in refining our service offerings, establishing best practices, and positioning our team as a trusted partner in financial accounting advisory.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Advisory, Valuation, and Transaction teams to identify client needs, design tailored solutions, and oversee execution in areas such as:
• Transitioning from cash-based to accrual accounting
• Enhancing and documenting accounting workflows and procedures
• Optimizing the financial close process to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Managing account reconciliations and audit preparation
• Developing reporting packages for investors and lenders
• Take ownership of multiple client projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
• Build and strengthen relationships with C-suite executives at portfolio companies and private equity firms, driving business development initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior professionals while engaging with firm leadership and external advisors
• Contribute to firm-wide growth by recommending improvements, spearheading initiatives, and enhancing internal processes

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience in financial advisory, public accounting, or a mix of consulting and industry leadership roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and build high-performing teams, particularly in entrepreneurial environments
• Deep understanding of finance function optimization and best practices
• Experience working with private equity-backed and founder-led companies
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
