Our client seeking a highly skilled Property Adjuster Specialist to join our field operations team. In this role, you will manage complex property claims requiring expert knowledge of insurance coverage, construction, and potential liability issues. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex claims scenarios while delivering superior customer service.


 Core Responsibilities

* Proactively manage a caseload of complex property claims requiring in-depth knowledge of coverage, construction, and potential legal liability

* Conduct thorough on-site inspections to evaluate property damage and determine appropriate scope of repairs

* Partner with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate efficient claims resolution

* Investigate claims by gathering information from various sources, identifying discrepancies, and determining subrogation potential

* Analyze complex policy terms to determine appropriate coverage and identify potential concerns

* Negotiate fair settlements within authority limits, collaborating with management on claims exceeding thresholds

* Maintain detailed, accurate documentation throughout the claims process

* Utilize advanced estimating technology and virtual inspection tools to prepare comprehensive damage assessments

* Support catastrophe (CAT) response operations, including mandatory on-call rotations and deployment travel

* Serve as a technical resource for less experienced adjusters


 Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred)

* Minimum 2 years of property claims adjusting experience handling moderately complex losses

* Advanced proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating platforms

* Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and repair techniques

* Comprehensive understanding of property insurance contracts, case law, and regulatory requirements

* Excellent negotiation, investigation, and conflict resolution skills

* Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

* Strong written and verbal communication skills


 Requirements

* Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including local and non-local assignments

* Availability for catastrophe duty deployment with minimal notice

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts)

* Proficiency with digital tools, including mobile claims applications and virtual inspection platforms

* Physical ability to conduct property inspections, including navigating various terrains and climbing ladders
