IT Support & Systems Technician


Mason Technologies is seeking an entry- to mid-level IT Support & Systems Technician to join our internal IT team. This is a hands-on role focused on end-user support, device lifecycle management, and assisting with the operation and improvement of internal IT systems.


The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working directly with users, and contributing to the reliability and effectiveness of business technology. This role offers exposure to a wide range of IT functions, providing opportunities to grow technical skills and responsibilities over time.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline IT support and triage for end users across the organization
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues efficiently and effectively
  • Reset, rebuild, and deploy Windows PCs
  • Assist users with file access, setup, and configuration
  • Set up and troubleshoot deskside peripherals (monitors, docks, keyboards, webcams)
  • Install and maintain printers as needed
  • Perform password resets and assist with multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Document work clearly and escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Assist with ongoing improvements to endpoint management, monitoring, and IT systems
  • Support onboarding and management of mobile devices (iOS/iPadOS) as needed
  • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain technology standards and best practices


Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT support, help desk, or a technical environment supporting end users
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Foundational understanding of end-user devices, accounts, and access control in a business environment
  • Basic cybersecurity awareness, including password hygiene, MFA, and device security
  • Coursework, certification, or hands-on training in Information Technology or a related field
  • Comfortable working directly with users and explaining technical issues clearly
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a ticket-based support environment
  • Exposure to endpoint management, monitoring, or device management tools
  • Experience supporting macOS devices or familiarity with Mac system management
  • Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-900, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge in real-world support scenarios 


Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time, On-Site


We are currently only considering candidates who already live within commuting distance of our Deer Park Office. This role is not open to relocation and relocation assistance is not provided.
