We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will be a key player in delivering impactful software solutions to advance strategic initiatives. This role bridges the gap between stakeholders and technical teams by identifying, documenting, and translating complex requirements. This role will ensure that solutions align with organizational goals while mentoring team members and fostering business process improvements.
Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis & Improvement
- Gain a deep understanding of the organization's business capabilities, processes, data, and systems.
- Maintain knowledge of deployed applications and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and decision-making enhancements.
- Analyze and re-engineer business processes to support strategic initiatives and resolve complex problems.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed requirements using advanced techniques like interviews, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Ensure all requirements are thoroughly analyzed, understood, and agreed upon by stakeholders and development teams.
Project Leadership
- Serve as a product owner or proxy, prioritizing and managing backlogs based on business needs.
- Lead small project efforts and support organizational change management for IT product and service adoption.
- Coordinate with IT marketing and communications teams to promote new solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Assist in Quality Assurance Testing (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
Mentorship & Collaboration
- Coach and mentor product owners and team members to enhance their capacity for managing complex software development efforts.
- Build trust and collaboration across cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and alignment with organizational goals.

Position Requirements
Education

Required: High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certifications in business analysis, change management, product ownership, Six Sigma, or project management.
Experience

Required:4+ years of professional work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Enterprise Transformation, or Project Management.

Preferred:6+ years of professional work experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading organizational change and cross-functional initiatives.
- 4+ years of experience with Technology and Software Development Lifecycle.
