Key Responsibilities
Mentorship and Coaching
- Provide feedback and guidance to enable designers to excel in their roles.
- Coach team members to enhance their skills and grow professionally.
- Improve and maintain existing design templates for consistency and efficiency.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of designers on project teams.
- Foster high morale through team-building activities and engagement.
Relationship Building & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with developers, data analysts, solution architects, and business stakeholders.
- Partner closely with product leadership, including Product Owners and Delivery Managers, to align on goals.
- Collaborate with design principals and managers, providing updates on progress and flagging potential challenges.
Facilitation & Active Participation
- Plan and facilitate design-thinking workshops to align user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Actively participate in leadership meetings to shape product backlogs and roadmaps.
- Advocate for user-centered design and inclusive practices during PI planning, product ceremonies, and collaborative sessions.
- Educate stakeholders on the value of user research and human-centered design approaches.
- Contribute to Design Studio meetings and discussions.
Deliverable Quality
- Ensure deliverables meet the highest design standards, driven by data, research, and measurable KPIs.
- Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices into the work.
- Produce hands-on designs, including UX/UI, content, and research-based solutions.
- Address UX debt and maintain a design backlog informed by research and user insights.
- Leverage business and IT strategies to drive informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Proven track record as a Lead UX/UI Designer in large-scale enterprise projects.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in energy, utilities, or solar is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in user research, design thinking, and customer empathy.
- Ability to create data-driven, accessible design solutions.
- Proficient in facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders.
- Familiarity with product development processes, including Agile and PI planning.
