Job Title: Senior Data Architecture Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architecture Manager to lead our data architecture team and drive our data strategy forward. As the Senior Data Architecture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our data architecture to support our business objectives. You will lead a team of data architects and engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making, enhance data quality, and ensure data security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
• Data Architecture: Lead the design and maintenance of the organization's data architecture, including data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data architects and engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development.
• Data Integration: Oversee the development of ETL processes and data integration solutions to ensure data flows seamlessly across systems.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging data technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization's data architecture.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data systems and architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations, implementing security measures and access controls.
• Project Management: Manage data architecture projects from initiation to completion, including resource allocation, budgeting, and timelines.
• Reporting: Generate and present reports on data architecture performance, project status, and key metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design concepts.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Project management experience and familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
